We are delighted to share the announcement that the 13th Tynemouth Scouts (Holy Cross) have now changed their group name to coincide with their location. The group will now be called 13th Howdon Scouts.
The Group Executive Committee decided to change their group name along with allowing the young people to design a brand new neckerchief.
The leadership team selected 10 neckerchiefs that the young people designed to go into the final round of voting in which the young people then selected which one they would like going forward.
The new group colours include turquoise, day glo green and grey!

These were then put to the District Executive Committee before approval and we welcome the newly named 13th Howdon Scouts to Tynemouth Scouts.
