District Appointments

Dear all members of Tynemouth Scouts, 
Phil Rowell is delighted to confirm the following appointments to your brand-new District Team. Phil has worked tirelessly in the recent weeks since his appointment to work his way around the district and meet each and every one of you! He will continue to come around groups and events to say hi and introduce himself to you all. Please find 2 brand new appointments bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Team Tynemouth. We hope to bring you further appointments very soon. 
Deputy District CommissionerTynemouth Scouts are delighted to announce that Steph Doughty has been appointed as Deputy District Commissioner. Many of you will know Steph from her time as District Commissioner from 2014 to 2017. Steph has also held sectional roles within the Cubs and Scouts section.

Assistant District Commissioner: Cubs SupportGill Robinson has been appointed as ADC Cubs Support. Gill has been a member of Tynemouth Scouts since 2007 and held a number of roles locally in the 1st Tynemouth Scouts. Gill will be working closely with Cub Leaders from across the District to support with prograe and plan forthcoming events.

Assistant District Commissioner: Scouts Support Tony McAndrew has been appointed as ADC Scouts Support. Tony returns to Scouting after standing down as Group Scout Leader at 1st Wallsend Scouts. Tony will be working closely with Scout leaders from across the district to support with programme and to plan forthcoming events.
