To all Adult Members of Tynemouth Scouts,
Northumberland Scouts are delighted to announce the appointment of Phil Rowell to the role of District Commissioner for Tynemouth Scouts.
After a long and rigorous process to ensure the right person was appointed in the role of District Commissioner at this moment in the journey of Tynemouth Scouts, Phil was a front runner throughout the process and was successful in the appointments process.
Phil’s appointment is effective from today in his role as your brand new District Commissioner. Phil can be contacted by emailing tynemouthdc@northumberlandscouts.org.uk
Phil’s role will be to manage and support Tynemouth Scouts to ensure it runs effectively and that Scouting within the District develops in accordance with the rules and policies of The Scout Association so that that the District provides good quality Scouting for young people and he proactively supports and manages adults within Tynemouth Scouts.
I am sure you will join Northumberland Scouts in welcoming Phil into his new role of District Commissioner and wish him all the very best for the future. We can’t wait to see some of his exciting plans come into fruition in the coming months and we are sure you will all support him on his journey as your District Commissioner.
