Props
Props - short for properties - are all the little bit of touches that go into making the act seem more realistic. Imagine if one of the acts was set in a restaurant - but there were no knifes and forks, glasses, bottles of wine etc. It wouldn't look very realistic would it. Props make sure that whatever is needed for the next act is ready and waiting and is handed out to the cast as they go onto the stage, then taken back in again as the cast come off stage.
