Wildlife Photography Competition
On Friday 6th Of January 2012 Michael Dale was lucky enough to be be able to present multi award winning wildlife photographer Andy Rouse with a scout photographer badge and global conservation badge.
Those Troops who have done the photography badge with Michael over the past 2 years will know of Andy Rouse's work and have seen the letter of best wishes from him.
Andy has very kindly donated two of his 2012 calendars to the District which Michael has said will be used as prizes for a wildlife photography competition.
The Rules
Any member of Tynemouth District can enter.
There will be two categories, 17 year olds and under, 18's and over.
The photos must be of a wild animal (including captive ones). This could be birds on a garden feeder, wild rabbits or hares in a field, seagulls at the beach, even birds of prey or other animal in a garden centre, pet's corner or zoo - something along those lines.
Photos of domestic pets will not count, the idea is to get out and take some wildlife photos.
Photos should not be altered in photo editing software other than to re-size them for e-mailing.
All entries should be e-mailed to the webmaster so they can be uploaded onto the district website.
The photos must be titled and accompanied with the photographers name, group, age and where it was taken.
Entries are limited to a maximum of two photos per person.
The photos will be judged on the 1st of March 2012.
